The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office IX conducted a technical session on Grant Utilization and Monitoring Reports of the Memorandum Circular 12 of Sustainable livelihood Program on February 18-20, 2019 in LM Hotel, Zamboanga City.

More than a hundred field implementers convened in the said session to discuss SLP operations and status of program implementation.

The activity also aims to orient the staff on the grant utilization and monitoring reports as stated in the Memorandum Circular no.12 and review of some terms of reference to complement in the implementation of the program.

Crafting of the Individual Performance Contract (IPC) also highlighted the activity which aims to synchronize all trusts and priorities of the SLP. There were interactive discussions, agreements and integrated decisions made in order to ensure and meet the expected output from the program operations and as well in all the involved participants.

SLP delivers Major Final Outputs (MFO) on the Social Protection Services with its core function on continuing engagement of families to actively participate in community development activities to cover 214,130 families in 45 municipalities of Region IX.

Sustainable Livelihood Program is a capability-building program that provides access to opportunities that increase the productivity of the livelihood assets of poor, vulnerable, and marginalized communities, in order to improve their socio-economic well-being.
