Out of 385 registered members of the farmer’s Association of PCA, 80% are 4Ps beneficiaries. Most of the officers of the Association are Parent Leaders of the program.

The PCA consistently attends the District Inter-Agency Committee (DIAC) meeting to provide updates on programs and services that the 4Ps beneficiaries may avail from the PCA.

Additionally, the PCA also participated in the Pugay Tagumpay – 4Ps Graduation Ceremony last March 12, 2024 where they provided 200 coconut seedlings to the 4Ps beneficiaries as “pabaon” for the graduating households.

They also provided free seedlings of cocnut trees, banana and fertilizers to the farmers.

One of the newest programs of PCA together with the Commission on Higher Education is the scholarship for tertiary education of coconut farmers children. 1 4Ps beneficiary from Barangay Salaan, Zamboanga City was successfully referred and granted the said scholarship.

The Regional Director of DSWD-9, Riduan P. Hadjimuddin, during the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas conducted by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) commended the convergence strategy of various government agencies to reach the goal of improvement of well-being of poor families.
