Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) who are pregnant and/or mothers with new-born children aged 0-2 are advised to register and update their information through the newest social registry system of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the i-Registro.

i-Registro is a self-service dynamic social registry (DSR) that allows beneficiaries to update their information in real-time at the comfort of their homes. With the use of digital platform (mobile and internet), this initiative grants easier access to the beneficiaries for reporting and updating their information in the Pantawid Pamilya Information System thus minimizing delays, cost, and physical effort in going to the nearest DSWD office.

“The Department constantly finds ways to make our processes easier and beneficiary-friendly. Furthermore, this also empowers the beneficiaries because they will get to be involved in ensuring that the 4Ps database is always up-to-date,” DSWD-9 Regional Director Riduan P. Hadjimuddin said.

No less than the National Director of DSWD’s National Household Targeting Office (NHTO), Jimmy Francis T. Schuck II led the pilot registration of 4Ps beneficiaries in Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte and Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay on Thursday and Friday (December 19-20).

Director Schuck said this service will be implemented in 235 municipalities with higher rates of poverty and child stunting beginning January 2025 including 9 cities/munikcipalities in Region 9.

Gaity C. Alocillo, a 4Ps beneficiary from Polanco, said that the i-Registro is an easier updating system for them especially that she has 2 toddlers that she needs to attend to.

“Mas madali po siya lalo na kapag may android [phone] kaysa lagi kang pumunta ng office [para mag-update] (It’s easier specially if you have an android [phone] as compared to frequently visiting the DSWD office [for updating],” Alocillo said.
