Pagadian City – The Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur and the Department of Labor and Employment – IX were recognized and awarded for being the first provincial local government unit (PLGU) and the first government office in Zamboanga Peninsula to enter into a Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 9.

The award was presented by the Chief of Policy and Plans Division (PPD), Hasan B. Alfad on behalf of the regional director who was on official travel, during the conduct of the Orientation for Regional Line Agencies on Listahanan 3 Data Sharing at Chandler Suites, Pagadian City, last Thursday, 9 November.

Representatives from both offices received their respective certificates of recognition and other tokens from DSWD as a sign of appreciation for the invaluable support that they have given to the department by utilizing the government’s database of the poor, particularly in the formulation and implementation of programs and policies related to social protection.

The poor will ultimately benefit from the use of Listahanan. This information management system is being accessed by various government agencies and organizations that deliver social protection programs and services.

As of now, interested offices can request for Listahanan 3 data for purposes that aim to assist the poor, the vulnerable, and the disadvantaged, subject to Department’s data sharing guidelines. ###
